Demon Possession Q&A Part IV
Mark 5:13 “And He gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits came out and entered the pigs, and the herd of about 2,000 rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned there.”
Why did the pigs go into a frenzy?
Those swine were busy feeding in their daily activity and were unaware they would be targeted by a force they could not comprehend until the demons entered them and adversely affected their thought process. The demons were angry because they had been residing in a human and Jesus ousted them. Had the demons not entered the swine, they would not have been driven into a frenzy.
Matthew 8:30-32 “Now a long way off from them, a large herd of pigs was feeding. “If You drive us out,” the demons begged Him, “send us into the herd of pigs.” “Go!” He told them. So when they had come out, they entered the pigs. And suddenly the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the water.”
Did the demons drown with the swine?
No, they escaped drowning with those pigs because they were already residents of the spirit realm. It revealed the demons disregard for all life but their own; just as the people drowned during the Great Flood, and the Noahian Order of angels escaped that Judgment of Mankind by going back into the spirit realm to safety. They were also sending a visual message to Jesus, that they are intent on destroying lives of all that come in contact with them if they cannot be shown mercy.
Was it necessary for the herd of pigs to drown?
It was by the action of the demons that caused their deaths; point being, that possession results in erratic behavior that’s not wholesome.
No defect can be attributed to, nor can any fault be found in Jesus’ action for permitting the ousted demons to enter the swine; though certain unstated truths found only at the Great Hall of Records were omitted from the account given in the Word, such as the fact that the 294 owners of those 2,000 head of swine were Jews, making them guilty of disrespect for the Law they were mandated to uphold.
The fact that Jesus was able to exercise his ability to have direct communication with his Father Yahweh as to what course of action to take, and thereby was not responsible for the free will actions exercised by the demons once they had entered the swine.
Did the animals serve a purpose by dying in such a way?
Should the swine have known better than to be infuriated by the demonic influence, since they have natural instinct given by way of nature from Yahweh? An animal is of lower intelligence of humankind; they do not worship the Creator; instead, they are a component of nature for the continued cycle of fleshly realm life. They serve a purpose, and then they are returned to the One that brought them forth into existence. So, if the animals are worth less than that of a human life, then the swine served a purpose in a lesson that Jesus was giving visually in what occurred on that day some 2,000 plus years ago.
Matthew 12:12 “A man is worth far more than a sheep, so it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
This was cited to not only reveal that one should also perform good things on the Sabbath, but it also points out that a VALUE SYSTEM is in place under Yahweh’s Statues of Law governing Her creation. In view of the undeniable fact that all of creation belongs to the One that caused it to be brought into existence in the first place – Alpha, the Beginning – then all animals rightfully belong to Yahweh by reason of Her Creator-ship, and that Jesus Christ whom was Her representative sent in the flesh to bring forth Her Will by his conduct, that he had every right serving within the bounds of Yahweh’s Sovereignty to permit those unfaithful angels to enter and possess those swine that are typified as being unclean like the demons themselves in the Word’s revelations.
