Mainstream media talking about an alien invasion, why?

Discovery Channel will be showing Curiosity: Alien Invasion: Are We Ready every Sunday at 8pm. “Aliens attacking Earth — it’s the stuff of sci-fi stories, but what if it really happened? Host Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar, Battle: LA) brings together top scientists and military strategists to dramatize what would happen if and when aliens attack.” Watch interview with one of the scientists.

BBC interviewed an ex-personnel of Ministry of Defense who worked on the UFO Project and highlighted the “Rendlesham incident” as the most convincing of all reported cases.

The show on National Geographic’s “When ALiens Attack”  features the realistic depiction of Earth’s military forces and major cities being overwhelmed in an alien shock and awe campaign. It raises the question of whether the public is being psychologically conditioned to accept the possibility of hostile extraterrestrial life visiting Earth.
