What Did The Prophet Ezekiel See?
Many choose to make gross generalizations and refuse to keep a balanced view. Read Ezekiel Chapter 1, what did the prophet see? And it’s acceptable for the prophet Elijah to be taken up in a fiery chariot (2 Kings 2:11) but all UFO’s in the 21st century have to be of demonic origin?
It’s acceptable for Apostle Paul to be transported to 3rd heaven or paradise in the spirit and for Apostle Peter to fall into a trance but astral projection is of demonic origin?
It’s acceptable for the patriarch Joseph to uncover the truth by divination but in the 21st century, anything that doesn’t agree with mainstream teachings is considered heresy?
Genesis 44:15 “What is this you have done?” Joseph said to them. “Didn’t you know that a man like me could uncover the truth by divination?”
It’s acceptable for God to speak to Moses in a burning bush but the holy angels are not allowed to use modern communication in the 21st century? So it is only acceptable if they appear the way they did as recorded in the Word?
The word “angel or angels” is mentioned 81 times in the Book of Revelation, the most of any book in the Holy Bible. In the Book of Acts, angels are mentioned 23 times. In total, it is mentioned at least 273 times: 108 times in the Old Testament and 165 times in the New Testament. They serve as messengers, ministers, warriors.
Revelation 14:6 [ The Proclamation of Three Angels ] Then I saw another angel flying high overhead, having the eternal gospel to announce to the inhabitants of the earth—to every nation, tribe, language, and people.
Is it possible for the fallen angels to preach a different gospel? ABSOLUTELY! Galatians 1:8 “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel other than what we have preached to you, a curse be on him!” Look at all of the bickering between the different sects/denominations. Each group thinks they have the truth and that the other is being mislead by Satan. They can’t be all wrong or all right – but WHO HAS THE TRUTH? For an angel to preach a false gospel they must be in a position to do so, and that would mean one had utilized the technology the holy angels presently share in their own communications.
Reason out the Scriptures with us if you want to search for the Truth like precious gold and silver. The most learned men in Jesus time did a lot of fingerpointing. They wanted everything spelled out nicely in the Torah for them to accept Jesus as the Messiah. They wanted Jesus to follow their expectations of what a Messiah should be like. Isn’t that what most people are doing? Expecting God to follow their expectations?
Isaiah 55:8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways.” This is the LORD’s declaration.
Only a handful are willing to discuss the Scriptures with us… the Jews in Jesus time, they probably said to themselves: “There’s no way the most learned men can be wrong. We’ll follow the Scribes and the Pharisees, not a carpenter from a small town. The name Jesus is not even mentioned in the Torah and we know his parents, just ordinary folks.” So they went along and shouted, “Crucify him!”
Matthew 27:22 Pilate asked them, “What should I do then with Jesus, who is called Messiah?” They all answered, “Crucify Him!”
Matthew 27:23 Then he said, “Why? What has He done wrong?” But they kept shouting, “Crucify Him!” all the more.
